Notes:
1. I wanted to participate in this month's somein30 round and the idea was to make a 50-50 mix of simple and complex but I found myself making simple icons cause I was enjoying the process more. Also, I chose Normal Mode.
2. Some nostalgia is happening, which is why I iconned the early seasons of Teen Wolf.
3. For some reason, I wanted to slap grunge textures on everything, so I did. Some colouring experiments were also attempted. Fun was had!
4. The kpop icons were made for a battle that was supposed to be posted a year and half ago. But it never materialized, so I'm just posting my completed set.

11 is the first one that caught my eye, the coloring + dark negative space + trippy 3d effect + text + texture use = awesome overall look, super eye-catching. All the parts fit so nicely together creating a really unique, interesting icon.
1 is great cause it's so shiny and neon that you wouldn't expect grittiness, but it's there and it WORKS! Same thing with 3.
The coloring in 4 is incredible, the colors are so vibrant and clean and well contrasted. Love the coloring and lighting and animated text in 6, the pop of contrasting cyan looks great against the already awesome coloring. 7 has super pretty colors + the texture use adds an interesting ingredient to the otherwise soft look.
13 is another stellar icon, kind of like with colorful grunge, I also love dark vibrancy, cause the combination is unexpected. I looove the hint of shiny lighting, and how it's subtle but adds so much color, and how the shadows aren't quite black but deep purple. And finally, the text and texture use + color combination in 15 are spectacular. Thanks so much for entering this awesome set! <3
The battle icons are amazing as well, I especially love the coloring and lighting on 26, the intricate background on 28 and the vibrancy and text use on 30. Fantastic work all around!
