3. But on the whole, I think I did fine aside from the few above mentioned colours. (In particular icon no. 7. Poor Annie. I have ruined what was an actual emotional confession of a young girl. I screwed up no.9 too. ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS EVER. SOB.)


4. Animation is SO HARD. SO HARD. And yet I keep taking part in these battles with these awesome other people who have got the skills of bamf wizards. Check out the full battle here plz.

6. NO WAIT. WE ARE NOT DONE. I kind of want to discuss new font loves. :D Arial Is as always a lifesaver but I must also hand out some awards to a few new fonts which have become MY LURVES. Intro is a KICKASS one. As is Pacifico and even Ballpark. AND JUSTUS. All of these are so flawless, I just cannot with them. :') And wait, even Windsong and Tw Cen MT. Yep. All so very awesome.

Sitcom entries for the win. *high fives* They're just so much fun to play with, and there's tons of material to use for text.

The colors, glowiness, and lighting in these are so light and vibrant. I feel happier just looking at them. 4 is so fantastically put together. The speech bubble and that purple really emphasizes the pop of her shirt, and everything just gels together so well. It's simply and beautifully done. I also love how the text looks in 6. 14 and 15 have great text positioning, and the lighting in 15 makes it one of my favorite icons in here.

omg I just LOVE this post. Your coloring is so vibrant and fresh! I like what you did with your text, and some of them have that bold use of it that I absolutely love, like #4, #5, #6, #7, #10, #11, #12, #14 and #15. My two favorites are #6 and #7, just love the monochrome coloring and how well the text fits. Oh and #15 is just so hilarious !

OMG, HOW GORGEOUS ARE THESE??? (correct answer: infinitely)

I love your colorings, lighting, and the goddamn TEXT USE so freaking much. You totally nailed this challenge. The text use here is so fun and diverse and adds so much to the icons and I'm jealous ok.

Some favorites even though they all are amazing:

1 - SO MANY COLORS and I love how they're both vibrant and soft. the lighting is divine.
3 - I have a thing for cyan and I LOVE the way you highlighted the cyans in her clothes and made them pop against everything else, just wow gorgeous
4 - OMG when i saw this in the previews my first thought was SCREW THIS I QUIT I'LL NEVER BE THAT AWESOME. It's peeeerrfect. LOVE the clean negative space, the candy colors, the speech bubble ♥ and the font and color combos. Everything is just spot on.
6 - so much vibrant yellow. i always love how fearless you are with vibrant colors. It looks stunning.
13 - ...then again this icon proves you're also ace at deeper, darker colors too! Just wow at the mysterious lighting. Really atmospheric :>
14 - CUTE. Also perfect text positioning.
18 - texture perfection. Love the bordered look and the negative space (Y YOU SO GOOD AT NEGATIVE SPACE).

annndd the rest of the icons are amazing as well; love the hair porn in 26, and 27 has AMAZING contrast and deep colors and just wow. Also those animation ones are amazeballs, especially 32, 36, 41, 42, 43 and 35 which is my favoritest of them all because it's a 1000% composition dream. Fantastic texture use and coloring and everything *__*

also, I totally share your Intro love! I try not to use it all the time but I totally do anyway, it's such a fun font that always works :3 *hurries to check those other fonts you recced*

This post is AWESOME. Community + you + text is a perfect, perfect match!

#4 is my favourite, (and everyones favourite), and just a flawless, flawless text icon. Like seriously. The colouring is absolutely insanely perfect. I really love the pastel colours you've rocked, and the beautiful contrast between the purple and blue. The text placement is just in the amazing thing. Love the text bubble, and I think the way you've emphasised the colours and changed the fonts just makes it even more effective. It's just such a complete icon. Absolutely gorgeous! #6 is just awesome as well. I'm really digging the bright yellow, and the text is such an awesome re-representation of the screencap, haha, seriously it's perfect!

The softness to #15 amazes me. I think the lighting is positively stunning, and combined with the beautiful vibrant colours and gorgeous text work it's just a really beautiful icon. I'm absolutely loving the muted tones that #16 has. Like, wow. Yes. You and muted should be friends also. And amazing text work here, I think the font you picked is perfect because it doesn't overwhelm the icon at all! And #20 has this most amazing softness happening, the contrast is perfect and I love the placement of the text again.

Just a seriously fantastic batch that I'm kind of in awe of. I could stare at this pretty for hours!
