Notes:

1. Phew. I did it. I never thought I would finish my entry for technique20in20 seeing as I have had next to no time. But I did. So yay!


2. This is honestly such a hodge podge. That's what being hasty will do to you though. To be honest, I did try my hardest to make icons which I would like. I think I did okay for most of the set ( EXCEPT FOR WIZARD. Idk you guys, I suck at composition ;__;)


3. The orginial idea was to do one fandom for each class, but the lack of time meant that I used Community for both Bard and Wizard, cause when it doubt, stick with what you know and Community is one of those shows for which adding text is absolutely no problemo.


4. Icon #3 was inspired by this amazing tutorial by jellybeansraw. I would normally never touch blocking with a ten-feet pole, but when making that icon, I wanted to try it and I also remembered their tutorial on it and how I never got around to it. And voila, an icon with blocking. Lettuce be real, it might be so-so, but for me it's a triumph. B-)

I love the coloring on the Community icons, especially the ones with a greenish tinge. These are making me want to rewatch.

Thank you so much! So nice to hear that. I meant to add this in the post( and I shall after this) #3 in Wizard was inspired by your blocking tutorials. :D You were one of my favourite Community makers, when I first got into the show, except I don't think I commented much because I was shy.

I hope you get to rewatch. I'm rewatching the show myself now and absolutely enjoying it. :)

Wow, I think this set is great! I love the combination of coloring + text on #1, and 3 also has gorgeous colors.
#4 in Wizard, WOW TEXTURE USE, love it!
I also really like #2 in bard and then the gorgeous turquoises in the last three. I love the range that this post shows!

ahhhh thank you so much! I was a little worried that this post was all over the place. So glad you like #4! I've been struggling with that cap for such a long time ( as in multiple tries over a period of time) and I managed to turn it into an icon I really liked.

That challenge was really hard! I'm glad the mod came back and revived that challenge instead of moving on.

I found the wizard ones the hardest, too. I have read that same blocking tutorial, and man, I still hate to do blocking. :D Your result is very cool. (I admit I like the unblocked alts better, though, so I guess blocking just isn't for me.)

All your wizard ones turned out great, especially #3 to #5. But I like the combination of floral background and grungy foreground texture in #1 and #2, as well.

I really love Bard #1 - Britta!, and the "Racist" one is great, too. It is one of my fave quotes, and the coloring goes really well with it.

Hero #3 and #4 are wonderful, I love the vibrance and the contrast between his purple uniform and the background in both of them.

Blocking just isn't for me either, but I'll admit, I like this icon more than my previous icons which involve blocking( which you can count on one hand :D)

The 'racist' quote is one of my favourite ones from Community. I contemplated including the entire quote, but it was too much effort!

I love all the Rogue icons so much! The crops and coloring are amazing. I also really like the coloring of all the Hero icons :D
