1- What is your current profession or work/student situation?
a) Currently I am in my 30s and planning on getting a Masters and feeling very much like Britta at the moment
2 - My fav show
a) My fav show is Community. Shocker, I know.
3 - My fav movie
a) And my fav movie is Amelie
4 - My fav colour
a) My fav colour is pink. ALL THE SHADES.
5 - My fav ship
a) My fav ship is ofc another shocker, Jeff x Annie from Community

6 - My fav character
a) Uh yeah, fav character of all time, Ms Annie Edison
7 - What are your hobbies/how do you like to spend your free time?
a) One of my biggest hobbies is writing. I dont think I could EVER live without writing.
8 - Which character do you relate to the most?
a) Um, a character I identify with a lot if Abed Nadir from Community. I am really astute when it comes to noticing things around me and picking up symbolism and analysis. But I struggle a lot when it comes to my own personal emotions and feelings.
9 - Which animal do you relate to the most?
a) I identify the most with cats. Likes to sleep, eat and sometimes snuggle. Also BOUNDARIES.
10 - What do you consider your best characteristic?
a) One characteristic I really like about myself is how determined I am. I hate the idea of failure and will try and try and try again. If theres something I really want to do or achieve, I do not mind waiting but BY GOD will I get it done. Ofc this backfires on me at times, but oh well, such is life.

11 - What do you consider your worst characteristic?
a) One of my worst characteristics is passive-aggressiveness with a side of people pleasing. I am working on trying to be more straightforward but GOSH, it is hard.
12 - Something you are good at?
a) I am good at being curious. Like, I like learning new things so as long as I find something interesting, I will delve deep into it.
13 - Something you are bad at?
a)I am bad at expressing my emotions. It's also really unfortunate that I have RBF so ppl think I am perpetually angry or mad. But really, I am just awkward and most probably daydreaming.
14 - Something you're trying to get better at?
a) I am trying to be more brave about my choices. I default to the safest choics more often than not, even though I know that I will dislike it. So I am trying to become better at experiencing new things.
15 - What is on your "bucket list"?
a) Living independently by myself, preferably in a different country.

16 - What is your biggest personal dream or goal at the moment?
a) I want to do something that makes me feel proud of me, if that makes sense.
17- Something that really annoys you?
a) Rude people. Especially people who are rude to those who are serving them. There is nothing to brag about if you made someone cry. That just makes you an asshole.
18 - What personal problem are you currently struggling with?
a) I am currently struggling to learn to relax without worrying bout everything that I have not done. I do not allow myself to take proper breaks and I am very hard on myself which in turn ofc leads to burnout and anxiety.
19 - An area of personal growth you're proud of?
a) One area of personal growth that I am really proud of is in the past two years, I have learned to identify my emotions and even express them. I do feel like I'm digesting cacti everytime I experiencing something heavy or overwhelming, but I am no longer trying to supress it all.
20 - Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert?
a) I am an introvert and I really love being myself amongst nature and just staring up into the sky.

Date: Sunday, 3 October 2021 06:53 am (UTC)That first icon is such a classic icon by you in terms of coloring and subject. The vibrant, clear coloring is absolute perfection. Good luck with the masters, it's so much work but so worth it! <3
and the second icon is a perfect example of your distinctive mastery of colorful grunge, one of my favorite styles, so this icon speaks to me and I really dig how extreme the saturation is and that the purple shadows give it a bit of a twist! Either Community really has the best caps or you've just mastered them really well cause the colorings in them are always especially awesome - 5 is really interesting too with so many distinct colors, and the yellow/blue/purple combo in 8 is super eye-catching and gorgeous (fantastic lighting too, the shiny ray on the left is perfection). Abed sounds awesome based on this derscrption!
11 and 17 are so so gorgeous too, I just can't overstate how much I adore this coloring style of extra vibrancy + colorful shadows that tone down the contrast - it almost reminds me of raiindust's work, with a different twist of course. I'm obsessed with the lighting on 11 and the slight grunginess on 17. Seriously, all of these Community icons are amazing!
But of course the others are wonderful too and bring interesting variety into the set. The cropping and lighting in 7 are great and I soooo envy you for actually being able to write! I always want to and plan to write, but get stuck in the pre-planning phase every time... I thought trying NaNoWriMo last year would have helped but I literally spent the entire month just actively worldbuilding. And it's still not entirely built D:
The coloring on 19 is gorgeous cause it's half dark/half pastelly, a really interesting combo and the lighting and shadows in this are EVERYTHING.
And the animation ones are all so wonderfully vibrant, I especially love 18 and 20. I totally feel you on 18, that is me as well, my mind keeps coming up with things to do and there's just not enough hours in a day to do everything I want to so I can't allow myself to rest, yet the quality of my work can't suffer either so I can't just quickly half-ass things, both the productiveness and performance should be at 100% at all times and it's soooo stressful D: but it's the only way I can operate, so... yeah, I super hear you on this, and unfortunately can't give any tips to make this easier :/

I feel like you're on a good road, knowing some things about yourself, knowing the direction you want to go, and making your way. <3 I wish you luck (and I now know that you are determined enough :)) to reach your goals and realize your dreams. <3
I love how the things you like/are proud of/want are in bright and happy colors, nature and animals, calm and blue.
My faves are 1, 9, 15, and the last three.

The crop of 10 is really great! 14's coloring is absolutely great and the crop of 15 works really well. The vibrant coloring of 17 and 18 is gorgeous!

18 — So, so beautiful♥ Love that green/blue color and the lighting is super perfect! I am the opposite this one — I am very good relaxing and I give myself take a nap. sometimes it’s just good to let go of everything and allow yourself to relax. But I understand very well why it can be difficult
