Hello yes its been a long-ass time since I actually posted a proper post.
I saw the challenge for icons10in20 , felt a little inspired by the themes and signed up and here you go, icons.
This was fun despite all my few photoshop skills having dissolved into nothing
One Day At A Time is such an enjoyable show!!

So the photobucket problem did hit me. I think I have about 40 odd posts to repost, from 2010 to 2015. Luckily, I tend to save posts according to year and the order of posting, so that's one good thing for me in that I dont have to sort everything out.

Other than that, I will slowly be rehosting my icons. So please bear with me. :)

I realised that despite being a ginormous fan of Chuck, I never properly made icons for the show. So here is my attempt to fix that.

Notes:

I optimistically chose Deadpool for my claim. And made do with whatever caps I found from the trailer. It was a little ~~VERY~~ hard.

I choose option 3, which is getting a randomized texture pack. The textures are listed according to the icons I used them on. I tried to keep most of the textures visible, but if you cant see the texture properly on an icon, it's because I blurred it and used it.

Notes:

Making icons of Pushing Daisies only makes me feel sadder. What a show. It deserved so much better. ;__;

I liked the challenge in general, but I did struggle at quite a few places. I am not very good at being inspired. I tend to like technical themes more. My struggle is evident in a few icons where I wanted to achieve something and it turned out to be something else. :|

God bless Gasoline by Halsey and Cool Kids by Echosmith for helping me when I iconned.

Mad Max: Fury Road - [1-17]

Notes:

I was rewatching Mad Max the other day and felt extremely inspired, saved some caps and decided I wanted to try the challenge for 10in30 and then set to work over the weekend.

I tried stuff. Which is to say I tried to use more textures, gradients and colourful text. I made the icons in stages. I first made a few muted icons, but decided I wanted to make more colourful stuff. So I took those muted icons and vomited a bunch of adjustment layers on them and voila, here you have it.

Also two posts in one month? Unheard of. :D

1. I present to you my slapdash entry for Round 35: Flashback at

20inspirations.
2. This week has been crazy busy RL-wise and I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever get around to finishing my set.
3. I also kind of lost steam for like the last 5 icons. Idk you guys, I'm not very pleased with them. Especially the last three.
4. All my icons are a combination of the themes Muted and Vintage and Text. Can we pls ignore the part where some icons are not exactly muted and vintage but some weird inbetween?
5. I LOVE COLOUR SO MUCH. It was terrible to not be able to saturate my icons with colour as I like to do. And a good challenge too.
6. Most of the Jeff and Annie icons are weirdly shippy. (NOT SORRY). There's some shippy Britta too in there. I'm sad I couldnt make proper icons of Abed but I was really pressed for time and made do with the caps I already had.

Notes:

Back in November 2014, when the so very nightbulbs put up her request post, I was torn. Do I request or do I request a Community battle? On the one hand, pretties but on the other hand, MOAR pretties so I decided upon a Community battle and she so very awesome obliged. :D

You can kind of see where my inspiration petered off. -_- I got an early start on my set but then RL butted in and away went my free time.

I have only watched the first 3 eps so far ( once again, thank you RL) but I am loving Orphan Black so far. And Tatiana Maslany is fantastic. I arrived a bit late to the party but I am glad I arrived nonetheless
